A Docusign alternative for AI agents

If an agent or a custom workflow sends your documents, docuinked enforces the human approval step on the server, while Docusign says custom agents must build their own. For almost anything else, Docusign is the safer default.

Side by side

Docusign's own pricing site could not be read on 2026-11-07, so its plan figures below come from Signeasy, a competitor, checked in September and October 2026. Treat them as reported.

Where they're the better choice

  • Your counterparties know it. Signers tend to trust the name. One buyer on Hacker News put it this way: "my clients already use DocuSign and have no problem using it with me."
  • You need a big partner ecosystem. Docusign reports more than 1,100 active partner integrations.
  • You are a large company. It reported over 1.8 million customers in its last annual filing, with the enterprise features that come with that.
  • You need identity checks. Add-ons such as ID verification exist today, as reported from $2.50 an attempt. We don't offer them.
  • You want a long record. We launched in beta on 2026-11-07.

Where docuinked is different

  • The agent rule is enforced, not advised. An agent key can't send live documents or get signing links. The refusal comes from the server. See approvals.
  • Test mode is the same host and account. A key prefix decides the mode. See test mode.
  • Seats cost less, and agents aren't seats: Personal is $9 a month for one person and Team is $15 a seat, the first 5 free, with the API included. Agents and API keys are never seats; they can pay $0.75 per completed document instead.

Common questions

Is docuinked cheaper than Docusign?

For most people, yes. A seat on the plans above costs $10 to $40 a month whether you send or not; docuinked Personal costs $9 a month or $99 a year and Team $15 a seat, with the first 5 free, and the API included. Pay per document is $0.75, so a team that completes 20 a month pays about $15 whatever its size. A team that sends more pays $15 a seat for unlimited normal use. Personal has a fair-use cap of 500 completed documents a year, so check your own volume.

Can I move from Docusign to docuinked?

There is no import tool. Your finished documents stay where they are, and you would start new ones here. Keep your old records in Docusign or export them first.

Does Docusign have an MCP server too?

Yes. Docusign's server is generally available, and no Docusign tool is described as signing. The difference is what happens with custom agents, where its own post says you build the approval step yourself.
