A BoldSign alternative for AI agents

BoldSign has a generous free tier, cheap add-ons and a low API entry price. docuinked is younger and narrower. Its case rests on approval that the server enforces, where BoldSign advises it.

Side by side

BoldSign's page shows two prices for each plan. They look like yearly and monthly billing, but the page didn't confirm that. Both are below.

Where they're the better choice

  • You want the most free volume with a stable product. 25 envelopes a month on a free plan is generous, and it isn't a beta.
  • You want your logo on emails. We don't have branding yet.
  • You need SMS or ID checks. Both exist with published prices.
  • You want SSO on a mid-tier plan. It sits on Business.

Where docuinked is different

  • Advice versus a rule. BoldSign's docs advise human confirmation before sending, reminding or revoking. Here a live agent key has no way to send at all.
  • Sends are checked at the call. A bad request fails right away. BoldSign's docs note that its sending is asynchronous, so you watch events for success or failure.
  • A hash of the exact draft is what gets approved. See approvals.

Common questions

Is BoldSign's free plan better than the docuinked beta?

For a small team sending by hand, likely yes. It is a stable plan with branding included. Ours is a beta aimed at developers and agents.

Does BoldSign have an MCP server?

Yes. Its docs also advise a person to confirm before sends. Confirmation there depends on the client, while ours is a server rule.

What is BoldSign's API sandbox limit?

Its sandbox is free and watermarked, and documents are deleted after 14 days, according to its pricing page.
