White-label
White-label means a product made by one company is shown to end users under another company's brand, so signers see the platform they know rather than the provider behind it.
In plain words
A platform that sells software to, say, clinics or staffing agencies often needs signing. It doesn't want its customers' clients to see a third party's logo and wonder who that is. With white-label signing, the signing page and emails show the platform's or its customer's name, logo and colour. The provider does the work in the background.
An example
A staffing platform serves 40 agencies. Each agency sends contracts to workers. With white-label signing, a worker at one agency sees that agency's name and logo on the email and the signing page. The staffing platform runs all 40 with one integration.
What docuinked offers today
- Account branding. Set a display name, a logo and an accent colour per account.
- Signer pages and emails in the customer's brand. docuinked branding can be removed.
- Embedded signing. The signing page can load in an iframe on sites you allow, with browser events.
- Sub-accounts. A platform runs one account per customer, each with its own branding, documents and evidence, all reached with the platform's one API key.

What is coming
Not in place yet, and we won't imply otherwise.
- Custom signing domains. Signing pages are served from the docuinked host today.
- Custom email sending domains. Emails come from our sending address. With branding set, the sender name shows your customer's name.
What stays the same
docuinked still seals the document and holds the evidence. The certificate of completion says so whatever the branding. That is on purpose. A neutral record keeper is part of what makes the evidence useful.
Common confusions
White-label is not reselling. You don't need to resell a branded e-signature product. You build signing into your own product.
Branding doesn't change the law. A white-labelled signature is the same electronic signature with the same evidence.

Common questions
Will signers ever see the docuinked name?
If you remove our branding, the signing page and emails show your brand. The email address and the signing page host are still ours until custom domains arrive, and the certificate names docuinked as the sealer.
Do sub-accounts need their own logins?
No. A sub-account has no users of its own. The platform reaches it with its one API key, so your customers never sign up with us.
Can each sub-account have a different logo?
Yes. Branding is set per account, so each of your customers can have their own name, logo and colour.
