# Agreement templates

These guides explain 20 common agreements, what each one usually contains section by section, and how to send it for signature with docuinked from the app, by API or from an AI agent.

## How to use these guides

Each guide describes a document. It does not give you contract text to copy. Bring your own PDF, ideally one a lawyer has reviewed, and use the guide to check it covers the usual ground. Then send it for signature. Your first 5 completed documents are free, then $9 a month. See [pricing](/pricing).

These pages are general information and not legal advice.

## Three ways to send any of them

1. **In the app.** Upload the PDF, place fields and send. Save it as a [template](/glossary/template) to reuse it.
2. **By API.** One call to `create_document` with `send` set to true. See the [API reference](/docs/api) and use a [test key](/docs/test-mode) first.
3. **From an agent.** Connect the [MCP server](/docs/mcp). The agent prepares the document and a named person approves it before it goes out. See [approvals](/docs/approvals).

Some documents can't be signed this way in some places, such as wills and certain notices. Read [is an electronic signature legal](/guides/is-an-electronic-signature-legal) before you start.

## Common questions

### Does docuinked give me the contract text?

No. These guides describe what each document usually contains. You bring the PDF, from your lawyer or your own files, and docuinked handles the signing.

### Can I save my own version of one of these as a reusable template?

Yes. Upload your PDF in the web app, place the fields and signer roles once, and save it. Then send it from the app or start it by API with `create_from_template`.

### Which of these documents should I automate first?

Start with a short, standard document that you send often, like an NDA. Leave documents with money or personal terms, like offer letters, on an approval step.
