# E-signature for $9 a month. First 5 free.

Personal is $9 a month, or $99 a year, with unlimited documents for normal use. Teams are $15 a seat a month. Your first 5 completed documents are free forever. Signers never pay and never need an account. The API and MCP server are included at every price.

## Four ways to pay

| | Free | Personal | Team | API and agents |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price | $0 | $9 a month, or $99 a year (about $8.25 a month) | $15 a seat a month, or $150 a seat a year | $0.75 per completed document, billed monthly |
| Who | Anyone | One person | Two or more people on one account | Software sending on your behalf |
| Documents | The first 5 completed documents, forever | Unlimited for normal use. Fair use is 500 completed documents a year | Unlimited for normal use. Fair use is 500 completed documents per seat a year, shared by the team | As many as you complete, up to the beta limits below |
| Card | Not needed | Collected at checkout | Collected at checkout | Collected before your sixth document |
| Cancel | Nothing to cancel | Any time in Settings, Billing | Any time in Settings, Billing | Any time in Settings, Billing |

Every plan has the same features. A seat is a person on your account. Invite someone and you see the new price and confirm it before anything changes; remove someone and the seat comes off the bill. Both are prorated. Inviting a second person moves Personal to Team, and going back to one person moves you back. Past the fair-use limit in a plan year, sending pauses with a plain message. Nothing else is limited by plan.

## What counts, plainly

| | |
|---|---|
| Completed document | A live document every signer has signed, sealed and delivered. That is the only thing you pay for. |
| Pay-per-document price | $0.75 per completed document, in US dollars |
| Personal | $9 a month or $99 a year for one person, unlimited for normal use, fair use 500 completed documents per plan year |
| Team | $15 a seat a month or $150 a seat a year, for two or more people, fair use 500 completed documents per seat per plan year |
| Seat | A person on your account, invited ones included. API keys, agents and signers are not seats |
| Free allowance | Your first 5 completed documents, with no card and no time limit |
| Declined, voided, expired or deleted before completion | $0 |
| Test documents | $0, always |
| Signers | $0, always, no account needed |
| Sub-accounts | Their completed documents count toward the main account's plan year and bill |
| Billing | Personal and Team are charged monthly or yearly at the prices above, with seat changes prorated. Pay per document is charged once a month for the documents completed that month |
| Minimums | None |

You choose a plan only when you are about to send a sixth document. Until then nothing is asked of you. Accounts opened before November 8, 2026 saw a different page, so for them nothing is charged before December 8, 2026.

## The beta limits

These limits keep a runaway loop from reaching real people. They come from the running code, not a plan table.

| Limit | During the beta |
|---|---|
| Live documents sent | 100 a day per account |
| API requests | 120 a minute per key |
| PDF size | 25 MB |
| Signers per document | 10 |
| Sub-accounts | 1,000 per account |

Test keys are not held to the daily send limit, and test documents never count toward it. The request limit still applies.

## Pay for people, not envelopes

Most e-signature products charge per seat, count envelopes, then sell the API as a separate plan. Here people pay per seat, $9 for one and $15 each for a team, with no envelope counts and the API included. Software isn't a person, so agents, API keys and workflows are never seats: if that is how you use docuinked, pay per completed document instead. Signers never pay. You can export your signed PDFs and evidence at any time with the [API](/docs/api).

If you build signing into a product you sell, see [how platforms price it](/platforms) to their own customers.

## Common questions

### When do I pick a plan?

When you go to send your sixth live document. Settings, Billing offers "Personal, $9/month", "Personal, $99/year" and "Pay per document", and opens Stripe Checkout. Nothing is charged for the first 5.

### What does fair use mean?

Unlimited for normal use, with fair use set at 500 completed documents per plan year, about 42 a month. A plan year starts the day you subscribe. Past 500, sending pauses with a message pointing you to pay per document at $0.75. If you will send more, start there.

### Which should I choose, monthly or yearly?

Monthly is $9, so twelve months cost $108. Yearly is $99, about $9 less. Choose yearly if you will use it all year.

### What if a document is never completed?

You pay nothing. Declined, voided, expired and deleted documents cost $0. Only a document where every signer has signed and the sealed PDF exists is billed.

### Do signers pay or need an account?

No. A signer opens a link from their email and signs. They never need an account, and they never pay.

### Does a failed or test document use up the limit?

Test documents never count toward the daily limit or the bill. Only live sends do.

### How do I see or cancel billing?

Settings, Billing has "Manage billing", which opens your Stripe portal with invoices, your card and a cancel button. Cancelling stops paid sends; your free documents and everything you already signed stay.

### Can I raise the 100 sends a day limit?

Write to support@docuinked.com and tell us what you are building. The limit exists to contain mistakes during the beta, so we look at each request by hand.

### Will the price change?

If it does, we post it here and in the [changelog](/changelog) at least 30 days before it takes effect, and the first 5 documents stay free.
