# Acceptable Use Policy

docuinked exists so that real people can agree to real documents. This policy lists what isn't allowed. We may suspend accounts that break it.

## Don't use the service to

- sign for anyone else, or get around the rule that only the signer signs
- make forged, fake or misleading documents, or pose as a person or company
- send spam, unwanted bulk mail, or phishing
- send anything illegal, or to harass or threaten people
- put malware or harmful content in a file
- break or probe the service, get around its limits, or reach data that isn't yours
- use automated agents to do what these rules forbid

## Documents not to send

Don't send documents excluded by law, or that need more than an e-signature. See the list in [our terms](/legal/terms). They include wills, trusts tied to death, powers of attorney, health care proxies, do-not-resuscitate orders, deeds to be recorded, negotiable promissory notes, court filings, and the notices listed in 15 USC 7003(b).

Don't put protected health information in the service. We have no business associate agreement. Don't use it for regulated records that need a validated system.

## Agents and automation

You are responsible for anything your keys do. Don't give an agent a key set to send directly. Don't try to make an agent approve its own drafts. Don't let an agent control a signer's mailbox in order to sign for them.

If you received a document you think is abusive, write to support@docuinked.com with the sender and the document title. We don't take a side in disputes between parties to a document.
