# Bulk send

Bulk send is a feature that sends the same document to a list of recipients in one step, with each person getting and signing their own separate copy.

## In plain words

Some documents go to many people with nothing changed but the name. A policy update for every contractor. A new waiver for every member. Rather than send them one by one, a bulk send takes a list, usually a spreadsheet, and creates one document per row.

Each recipient's copy is separate. One person signing doesn't affect anyone else's, and each copy has its own record.

## An example

A gym updates its [liability waiver](/templates/liability-waiver) and needs 300 members to sign the new one. With bulk send, the office uploads a list of 300 names and emails, picks the waiver, and sends. Three hundred separate documents go out.

## Bulk send in docuinked is coming

docuinked doesn't have a bulk send feature yet. It is on our list, and we won't imply otherwise.

## What you can do today

Make one API call per recipient. A short script, or a loop in n8n, Make, Zapier or Clay, can do it. Give each call its own [idempotency](/glossary/idempotency) key, such as `waiver-2026-member-1182`, so a rerun never sends twice.

```
curl https://docuinked.com/v1/templates/TEMPLATE_ID/documents \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $DOCUINKED_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Idempotency-Key: waiver-2026-member-1182" \
  -d '{"signers": [{"name": "Alex Kim", "email": "alex@example.com"}]}'
```

Then send each draft with `send_document`. One limit matters here: during the public beta, live sends are capped at 100 a day per account. A list of 300 would take twelve days. If that blocks you, write to support@docuinked.com and tell us what you are building. Test keys have no daily cap, so you can try the full loop first. See [pricing](/pricing) and [test mode](/docs/test-mode).

## How others price it

Bulk send is often an upper-tier feature or an add-on. Vendor pages and summaries, checked in 2026, show BoldSign selling it at $0.25 per envelope as an add-on or on its Business plan, SignWell including it on its Light plan, and DocuSeal including 50 a month on Pro, then $0.20 each. Check each vendor before you decide.

## Common confusions

**Bulk send is not one document with many signers.** That is a single document where everyone signs the same copy. Bulk send makes many documents, one each.

**It is not mail merge.** Bulk send usually changes only the signer. If each copy needs different terms, generate each PDF first.

## Common questions

### When will bulk send be available in docuinked?

We have not set a date. When it ships, the [changelog](/changelog) will say so.

### Is one call per recipient slower than a bulk feature?

For the person sending, a script makes it the same one step. The beta's daily send cap is the real limit, not the number of calls.

### Should an agent loop over a list and send to everyone?

It can prepare all the drafts. Over MCP, each live send still waits for a person to approve it, so a long list means a long approval queue. For a fixed template, a script on your own server is the better fit.
